While it may be spring in the Rockies, we’re having an uncharacteristically early spring here in Owen Sound. My early tulips are already finished (this photo is from last week). And while we did have a few minutes of snow on Saturday, it was nothing like the foot of snow we usually get in an April snow storm. In fact, by noon the sky was blue and I ended up doing errands without a coat. Crazy weather!
Of course, these freaky changes in temperature mean those of use who suffer from weather-related migraines have been having an “interesting” spring.
This week’s Blogging Boomers Carnival is being hosted by Laura Lee Carter over at the Midlife Crisis Queen blog. Laura Lee is a life change coach who will help you with a “do-over”. She will help you find the life you’ve been searching for forever. If you’re still trying to figure out what (or who) you want to be when you grow up, Laura Lee may be just what you need.
Some of the topics covered this week are: walking vs. driving, boomers unable to help their children financially, women over 40 wearing gladiator sandals, is your marriage worth saving and Mexico’s Copper Canyon. An eclectic mix as always, but we boomers have such a varied life experience, a little eclecticism is fine.
Enjoy the carnival and leave some comments if the mood strikes.
Happy Monday.
