This past weekend saw me heading off to London (Ontario, not England … I wish!) for Podcamp London. If you’ve never been to a Podcamp,
it is billed as an “unconference”. Admission is free, speakers are unpaid, the schedule changes on the fly and it’s a great networking event, not to mention I learned a ton. Expect to read more about this in the coming weeks.
The way home was an adventure because we got caught in a snowstorm! Yes, you heard me. A snowstorm in May. Now everyone is going to believe all the stereotypes about Canada. But seriously, we don’t usually get snow in May. Guess it’s our punishment for skipping the usual April snow storm. Anyway, we got home safely. Thanks to Ryan for acting as navigator. It meant I could focus on driving and not worrying about where the heck we were.
Now that I’m back home and the snow has melted, it’s time for the regular Monday post – the Blogging Boomers Carnival. This week’s host is Ann Harrison of Contemporary Retirement Coaching and creator of the Retirement Detox Program. This week’s carnival includes posts about travel in Mexico, the best advice, travel scams, jumpsuits and boomer women, a movie about Georgia O’Keefe and much more. So head on over to the Blogging Boomers Carnival to read these posts.
Have a great week!
