Recently I spoke at the Business Women’s Network of the Owen Sound Chamber of Commerce about why every local business needs to be on Twitter. Most of the women present were not using Twitter so I needed to give some concrete examples of how people are using Twitter to promote small businesses to a local audience.

If your customer-base is local and you’re wanting to know a little bit about how to use Twitter to market to those local customers you should find this audio interesting. Just remember that every time I say “Owen Sound-Grey-Bruce” you can substitute the name of your locale.

The recording is a shade under 13 minutes so it’s a quick listen.
