I tried to stay away from talking specifically about religion and politics, which seem to only divide people nowadays.

I often wonder how others remind themselves that everything they say online is forever. I think it is a hard concept to grasp, similar to the $1.75 billion deficit!

I have often contemplated posting a sign on my desk-"Are you SURE you want to say that?" or a checklist of people I know might read what I wrote and I don't want to offend.

I look back at some of the things I posted, a few of which I wish I could change. I hope people will be understanding enough to not judge me entirely on one or two comments. However, I could definitely see a pattern of obnoxious comments driving business away. So as much as I would sometimes like to debate, I let things go. Losing potential business is not worth it!
