Is Pinterest Right for Your Business?

by Andrea J. Stenberg
February 20th, 2013

Pinterest is the one of the hottest social media sites going. In fact, it has almost caught up with Twitter in terms of number of users. For a long time it was almost 90 percent women but today most metrics I’ve seen show the gender split at about 50-50.

So what is Pinterest? It’s a social sharing site where people share images. You create virtual bulletin boards and “pin” online images to them. You can follow other people or just specific boards.

I’m still on the fence about Pinterest as a business tool. As I experiment and learn more, expect to hear more about it from me in the coming months.

In the mean time, I thought this was a particularly helpful infographic on the topic.

Are you using Pinterest? Why? What results are you getting? Please leave a comment and share.

    Andrea,

I am finding Boomers all over Pinterest. If you want a presence on Pinterest, just tell your mom to start pinning. She’ll probably promote your business for free… or for a small stipend. Pinterest is so addicting.

Thanks for the publish. I have usually noticed that the majority of people are eager to lose weight when they wish to look slim as well as attractive. Nonetheless, they do not continually realize that there are many benefits to losing weight in addition. Doctors insist that over weight people have problems with a variety of disorders that can be directly attributed to their own excess weight. The good news is that people that are overweight and suffering from various diseases can reduce the severity of their own illnesses through losing weight. You are able to see a progressive but noticeable improvement with health when even a minor amount of fat loss is attained.
One thing I’d really like to comment on is that weight loss program fast can be achieved by the correct diet and exercise. People’s size not just affects the look, but also the general quality of life. Self-esteem, melancholy, health risks, and physical abilities are afflicted in putting on weight. It is possible to just make everything right but still gain. If this happens, a problem may be the root cause. While an excessive amount food but not enough exercise are usually to blame, common health conditions and trusted prescriptions can certainly greatly enhance size. Thanks for your post in this article.
I mastered more interesting things on this fat loss issue. One particular issue is that good nutrition is highly vital while dieting. An enormous reduction in bad foods, sugary foods, fried foods, sugary foods, beef, and white colored flour products can be necessary. Keeping wastes parasites, and poisons may prevent desired goals for losing weight. While selected drugs temporarily solve the situation, the bad side effects will not be worth it, and they also never supply more than a short-lived solution. It can be a known indisputable fact that 95% of celebrity diets fail. Thank you for sharing your opinions on this blog.
Thanks for the points shared on the blog. One more thing I would like to convey is that fat loss is not about going on a fad diet and trying to lose as much weight as you’re able in a few days. The most effective way to lose weight naturally is by taking it slowly and using some basic suggestions which can provide help to make the most from your attempt to slim down. You may understand and already be following most of these tips, nevertheless reinforcing information never does any damage.
I believe avoiding refined foods will be the first step in order to lose weight. They will often taste very good, but refined foods contain very little vitamins and minerals, making you take more just to have enough vigor to get through the day. Should you be constantly taking in these foods, transitioning to whole grains and other complex carbohydrates will assist you to have more power while taking in less. Good blog post.
