Coach Deb,

Thanks for the clarification. It really is a powerful tool.

And I must say I couldn't help taking so many notes. You were giving such valuable information. Can't wait for your Twitter Handbook to be finished.

Aloha,

What great notes you took!
I'm still waiting for the transcription of my interview so I can include it in the http://TwitterHandbook.com published book.

Perhaps I should have just asked one of the participants like yourself to type up the notes and send them over instead! LOL

I just want to make sure I'm clear about #10 Tip (despite my private coaching clients wanting to keep my big mouth shut about this secret not many realize about Twitter).

SEO is automatic when you're using Twitter - just like it is when you have a blog on the Blogi360 system. It simply works FOR you, without you having to do the SEO - other than have a clear SEO keyword strategy with your blogging & tweeting efforts.

It's not something you use.
It's something that just "happens" as a result of being active on Twitter.

For example, if you do a search on CoachDeb or Deborah Micek on Google, you'll find that both my blog posts on the Blog i360 system as well as Twitter & MySpace are listed in the top 10 on the first page.

This is the true beauty and addiction for any business owner who wants the edge in the new media marketplace. Use tools that do SEO and marketing work FOR you - so you can have MORE time to do the things you love. (like Shopping! or Traveling!)

Ok - now I'll shut my trap before I reveal anything more and have my clients kill me. Afterall - I've gotta get this Twitter HAndbook finished to be ready for publication this month.

Andrea, thank you for another excellent post! I too have been wondering about Twitter and whether it was worth the bother - I'm still not convinced but will be looking forward to reading your reports as you go along.

Terrence,

I agree you have to be choosy about what social networking sites you use. I love LinkedIn, have been using Facebook for about a month and now Twitter.

I have a moderately strict rule that I only use social networking sites after I've done the bulk of my work for the day. I also use it in the evenings while I watch tv (as I write this I'm watching the Jays game).

Thanks for your comment. I too look forward to what others have to say.

David,

It can be hard to decide which ones to try. That's why I love teleseminars and blogs. You can learn from others who can help you make informed decisions.

This is a nice post about using Twitter to driving your business forward and build your personal branding.

I have been using Twitter for a while. Would love to hear more from other entrepreneurs about how they build their branding outside Twitter. Recently I have been using Plurk.com to instantly interact with other entrepreneurs.

You just have to control yourself to avoid wasting too much time on social networking. It very addict. One the SEO side, Twitter don't really help that much unless you have time to follow and go over thousand twitter to find your keywords. In that case, it'd better off to Google Trend or other keyword analysis tools.

Anyway, I am really enjoy Twitter, Plurk and Facebook for social networking with friends and other business owners. Looking forward to hearing from all of you soon!
